The initial positive results of the experiment made the researchers think the cell phone experiment would only work at the beginning but after continuing the experiments for months on end it seemed that only benefits would result.

These results have opened up the possibility for a whole new field in neuroscience and the long-term effects of electromagnetic fields on memory.
